I am not eating any this year because I'm positive something in them is addictive (that's my excuse for eating as many as I have over the last thirty years or so...).

Anyway, normally bite the top off at the narrow end, scoop out all the fondant by whatever means necessary (and depending whether or not in public...), and then eat the rest of the yummy choccy shell in one mouthful. Fantastic!

I scrape the narrow end of chocolate off with my teeth, the suck out the insides. Then pop the whole thing in my mouth and let it melt away. Bliss...

I bite off the top, use my tongue to eat all the goo and the chomp away on the chocolate whilst unwraping the next one.......

I'm always tempted to eat it in one mouthfull but when I do that I get sad because it's gone too quickly.

The best way to eat one is slowly!

The way I worded my first answer makes it sound like I get rid of the fondant or something, but I do actually eat it using methods employed by both hugoboss and natalie_1982!!!

have you tried eating them upside down? - the egg not yourself! - that way you get that thick chunk of chocolate at the pointy end as your last luscious gobfull!

when I was pregnant I tried dipping a chip into one, just as was shown on a Creme egg ad.  Do you know, it actually tasted pretty good?

Had a pal at school who decided to put the whole thing into her mouth in one go.  The eggs must have been bigger in those days, cos we laughed ourselves silly as it got stuck,! She tried in vain to melt it or bite it, while snorting snot down her nose and dribbling melted chocolate.  She was a classy lassy;-D and it still makes me smile.
