Hi yapisle - "Entries must reach us by Wednesday" in very small print under the bold type address. Can never understand why the deadline is so tight - maybe they get commission from the Post Office for the thousands of First Class stamps that have to be bought!

I have always understood that BY Wednesday means BEFORE!

they should be clearer and say 'By end of day' or something similar!

You're right yapisle - somewhat ambiguous but wouldn't be the day after publication (� ?) so my guess is last post on Wednesday. Anyway, the PO need the money! ja

. . . . didn't mean day after publication, just that if you bought the paper on Saturday afternoon there would be only Monday to post it, which is all a bit frantic!
