iv got a 50.cc quad bike an it keeps bottoming out when i throttle it now iv striped the engin apart an rebuilt it with new parts an realinged the pin in the carb also set the timeing an the fuel mixtuers but it still bottoms out when i start off any1 help...ps sorry about the spelling....
Do you mean the piston bottoming out? I've known it where the sparkplug is too long (the threaded part) and is too far into the cylinder. Or is it flooding and stopping? Check the carb float for a hole or crack. It may be filling with petrol and sinking which floods the carb.
as i stated on the question iv rplaced all old parts ewith new everythig down to the last nut and bolt im in the prosses of putting it all back together shouldent take no more than a few hours then its fingures crossed time as ill cranck up the motor an see if it works...ps ne1 wanna buy it if its ok its worth 2000 but i aint gonna sell it for that its just had a new paint job an it comes with neon lighting all on it pluss new motor parts all nearly new.....
