No quite sure where to put this question as there is not a topic for languages but here goes.
Vincent Simone affectionately calls his dance partner Rachel Stevens Picolino or something similar. I have looked it up in an italian Dictionary but it comes up as meaning picnic.I am only guessing at the spelling but wonder if anyone can give me the right interpretation. Just out of curiosity really but he saysit so nicely to her and she is so tiny and pretty that I think it must mean something like that.

When I heard Vincent talking to Rachel about the piccolino on SCD It Takes Two, he was clearly trying to describe the piccolo, and was very surprised she didn't know what it was - he kept saying 'It's a musical instrument, you blow it'.

Oh so maybe that is now his nick- name for her. How sweet.I think they make the perfect dancing couple,both little people. Thank you Ethel.
