artex removal

Does anyone know how to cover artex without having to plaster over it. Iv seen an advert on the tv for a covering made by Polycell. Has anyone tried it.

only way to do it properly is to plaster over if you remove it remember some artex has asbestos in it

I successfully removed artex by using a steam wallpaper striper.

the polycell stuff is pants, and not cost effective in my opinion
