Children of Fiji : Doctor ,doctor !!

I am posting this to see what other ABers think of this new quiz. I have had time now to have a good look at it and I reckon that is much harder than their previous quizzes. Not only that, but there is very little time given in which to complete it. I hate to be beaten but I think I am going to have to pass on this one. What do you think ? !!P.

Hi Pea Brain,
No haven't seen this one, but from what you say don't think I will try it.
Have you got the "Terrible Twos" Quiz" whch has until 31st
January 2009. It is quite difficult but very interesting - 100 questions as usual, with answers having something to do with two.
I've started it - not got very far - have a few more quizzes on the go at the moment and struggling a bit with those too.

i tend to agree with you , its one thing having a quiz that requires some thought and another were the clues are a bit obscure. i also agree the left to complete is not very long, i think i will pass also.

Yes chorley, apart from the one that has been eliminated I thought I had worked out the other mistakes- a couple of the answers I had got !!!! - still a lot to do though.

Haven't heard of the Sh you don't say - what is ithe theme of this one and when is the closing date

Well I won the last fiji and came second on the one before but it has me beat this time

I've done 64 now but some of those I am not sure of. Number of letters would have helped
Lots of people on here were saying after the last one that they wouldnt do it again and I feel this is going to happen. It would be intersting to know if they are still making enough money

I suggest that if no one comes on to say they have finished it we start a thread. I cant be the only one who has spent hours on it and I do mean hours before the moaners start

Surely the one with MOST answers correct will win. Maybe the idea is to stop so many ABers giving answers or hints simply because it is difficult.That's what spoilt the previous ones for us.

to my knowledge there were very few questions asked on the fiji quiz last time unlike many of the others

Look at 'up in the air' - people were shot down in flames for asking too soon but now I would think everyone has been asked and most of them more than once

If you like a good quiz this site doesnt spoil it. I finished up in the air and havent checked my answers against answers given on here

I have only managed to do 48 from the doctor doctor one,have put it aside for a while waiting for new inspiration. or will be going to the doctors myself with frustration(could that be an answer)

and I suggest one day they look at the tiscali forum - someone called compass must ask half of every quiz they do

Hey smouse, I wasn't moaning. I know every question to every quiz/crossword in the land is asked in some forum or other and masquerading under 'local quiz' 'general knowledge' etc. You only have to google the main words in the question to be directed there.
I just wouldn't feel comfortable about cheating. We get enormous satisfaction from solving for ourselves, especially the cryptics. Fiji is very hard so we won't enter it now. It's the Charity that loses out.

I at least feel that on the whole this site is fair - most of us ask questions and give answers - note I say most but wont go down that path

With the tiscali forum and the digital forum questions are asked and answers given by people who are not doing the quizzes so its all one way

Don't get me wrong I like to do the majority myself thats why when a good quiz comes I dont move far so I can do as much as I can because I could scream when answers are aksed a few days after a quiz is out but we both know nothing it going to stop that
