I am ashamed to say that this year I hid from the trick or treaters. Not because I'm a mean scroogy old beatch, but that I had forgotten to call in Tessies to stock up on goodies, and had no small change. The only thing I had to offer them were out of daet M&S meringue nests, and I ddin't think they would be appreciated.

I felt a right meanie.

as kids we used to hide from "provvie"(provident), my dad made a key for the electric meter which was used by all the neighbourhood so we could pay 50p in and when it ran out open the box and refeed the 50p back in :D

Im not in debt now but had a hard time growing up with my family being quite poor, poor but they were some really fun times, on the run lol!
