Hey! I'm in the 2nd year at Uni and will probably come out with a 2.1 in my Psychology degree.  I've had a rethink about my career and am very interested in Nursing (or even ACA then onto a Paramedic if only I could drive!) does anyone know if there is a fast route training program for graduates?  I heard it can be done on 2 years but I'm not sure.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

Don't become a nurse. Especially with a 2:1 in Psychology.

Within that 2 years you could crack a part time Masters.

Just my opinion. If you really want it, go for it. My ma was nurse. Loved it.

I'm wouldn't have thought you could shave much actual time off nurse training, because half of it is practice-based (and necessarily so!) but you might get APLed (Accredited with Prior Learning) out of some of the academic work, which would make the training less pressured. Why not talk to your nearest training centre? Nursing needs intelligent, motivated people.
