Spokes-Person

I would love to do something involving being a spokes person.  I have a lot of event management experience and public speaking skills.  I would like to give a voice to a cause or feel like i'm doing some good - although sadly i'm not a saint and still need to be able to earn a decent wage > �25k. 

Anyone got any ideas of direction/jobs/or where to start.  Would i need any specific qualifications with regard to spokes-person-ing.  (I'm usually a little more eloquent :o) lol.

You should think about joining Toastmasters. It is a worldwide non profit organisation and will lead to recognised experience in public speaking.

PR/Communications jobs in some central london boroughs pay in the region of �30k.  Most large charities will probs have similar jobs so its just a matter of there being vacancies.
