Have looked at your first link Ethel but this is a TV and DVD Recorder ... it does not include freeview which is what I am looking for.... but thanks anyway.

Hmm,

Some reviews say the DMTech is HD ready with built in freeview tuner but I can't find an official website.

I know the television you want is out there - I read a review in the HomeCinema magazine not so long ago and quite fancied it.

The problem with having such equipment is that if the TV system goes wrong, you've most likely lost out on the rest, too. TVs with built-in DigiBoxes are common enough, but it's better to have a separate recorder, I reckon.
