Every time I try to use my scanner I get the following error message before it bombs me out. I've tried re-installing the software with no joy. Can someone PLEASE help? -

Thanks for your contribution Ajmmac, and everyone else. The scanner worked perfectly until last week when between scanning one photo and another something upset it!! I found out last night too that I can get it to work by going into 'MS Photo Editor' or any other picture editing program and using the 'scan' command on the toolbar. A fix of sorts but still a strange how d'you do, don't you all think??
When booting up your PC, enter the BIOS (usually by pressing f1 or del at bios screen) in the BIOS you'll have an EPP - ECP setting, which eveer one it's on try the other, if there is an option there for bio-directional use that, it's unlikely this is going to fix anything seing as it worked a week ago and you wen't changing any thing, usually this occours when daisy chaining a printer and scanner at the same time with the one parallel port but give it a go anyway.
