Home made wine

I have been tidying my wine cupboard and have found three bottles of wine made by my late father.
Parsnip: Feb 1972
Apple and Quince: August 1977
Apple (sweet): 1985
and a bottle of Vin de Noix (1995) given to us by French friends.
Will they be drinkable, or should be pour them away?
Advice, please.

Open them, sniff, your nose will tell you.

We have (somewhere in someone's garden shed) a 1952 magnum of Moet and Chandon. It has been in the family for years. Goodness knows what it is like. I suspect it will never be opened.

I think i would give them a little taste even though they are more than likley to draw your ass up toy our elbows.

I remember the family next door to us 20 years ago came across a small air raid shelter in their garden. Inside were some bottles of elderberry wine with 1943 on. They were still good!
