have you read it? all the review I've read of it seen to be saying it's not very good. I just read twilight and loved it have ordered the next two books but one of the reviews said dont even read breaking dawn!! you views please...

These books are weird. The characters are flat and one-dimensional, the plot predictable and drawn out and the writing, whilst technically sound, is nothing special. Yet there's something about them that keeps you reading, keeps you wanting to read.

It's a complete story, so not reading the final volume would be to deprive yourself. I can't say whether you'd enjoy it or not, but I'd suggest you read it and make up your own mind as to whether or not it's any good. At least then you'll be making an informed choice.

If you don't want to buy, then borrow from your library. It's been a top ten title so most public libraries should have it in stock.

I've not read any of these books but over the years I;ve learnt not to trust reviews too much, after all they are just one persons opinion, As saxy says get it from the library and make your own mind up, but please dont let your enjoyment of a series be spoilt by one persons opinion. I found over the years that I've disagreed with the reviewer as many times as I've agreed

Saxy I agree. Not the most literary of masterpieces, however, I really liked these books. have not read the last one yet, nor seen the movie, but I will. My students got me into these books.

I love all of the books, by the time you have read the next two I think you will definitely have to read the last. They are good for an easy read, and if you take them seriously then as people have said in some of the reviews the characters are boring/predictable/annoying. I personally dont agree with any and think the last book is just as good as the first but then each to their own!
I have heard that the film is very different to the book and lots of readers are disappointed but im still loking forward to it coming out!

I've already seen the film a few times and going to go watch it on the 19th when it comes out!! Thats what made me buy the book!! I think I'll wait for the breaking dawn to get a bit cheaper then buy it!!
