OK so we've cracked the tom and I'm still none the wiser.
Would I be right in suggesting that all atheism is capable of is inspiring individuals to behave in ways that suit themselves and for their own needs whether they be for good or ill?
Whereas religion can do the same but on a mass scale and not only but also inspire great art and architecture.

The basis for my answer is that I am an atheist and can therefore tell you for sure that you would not be "right in suggesting" what you do suggest.

here is a fact that you might not like Naomi.... in war...there is no such thing as a none military statigic target!!!!!

we in the western world like to call ourselves "civlilised" and would never like to be seen to condon attacking "innocent targets"....

there are no innocent targets....every strike is a stratigic one
and a valid one..... thats something the "normal person" shouldnt know too much about!

an attack is a calculation!!! nothing more....and in the face of death..... all men are weak where this decision comes into play.......only one person stayed on the moral highground when confronted with death... and that is Jesus Christ! an example to us all.....

the Americans are just making a big deal of it and trying to scare people!!! and more importantly PREVOKING it!

In 1998 Bill Clinton passed legislatiion so that American people could legally raise funds for the Irish Republican Army.....
