Can you identify the song?

It was played on Radio1 a few weeks ago, definately a new song, sung by a solo man with a guitar. It sounded a bit like Jack Johnson, but definately wasn't. I'm pretty sure the song he sung had the word "family" in it. Any ideas?

he has been compared to Jack Johnson..
the song was out a earlier this year but appears to have been re released..
