Uniform Resource Locator. You would add one to an answer to back up your facts. Simply copy and paste.

How does one copy and paste?  I know I passed a course for Windows 98 but didn't really take it all in - thought it was rubbish not realising that this is the accepted method.

Mr Piper - less pompous name for a URL is Internet Address.

Netibiza: This is how I enter a URL into answerbank.

Open a new tab in Firefox (or open a second copy of IE)

Go to the address I am about to recommend (so that I know it's correct)

Click in the address bar so that it is highlighted

Hold down CTRL and hit C (copy)

Return to the AB edit window and position the cursor where I want the URL to appear.

Hold down CTRL and hit V (paste)
