How many of you will watch it on Saturday.  I know I will - not because I'm a Royal lover but because I am female and it will give me something to gossip about afterwards.

I will have my chocs at the ready and thoroughly enjoy myself!

Some people will always compare Camilla to Diana - but 'Beauty' is only skin deep!

Want an idea for a snack whilst watching the funeral in Rome how about a nice big box of pope-corn.
I would like to wish Sir Prince Charles (as I like to call him) all the best.

Nice one steevee!

I won't be watching because I really couldn't care less about the wedding, or its participants.

Besides which, having been a betting shop manager in a previous life, I shall be earning a little extra pin money on Saturday as a bookie's 'floorwalker' helping the once a year punters with their Grand National betting queries, then going down the pub.
Good, atlast Tesco's will be a wonderful shopping experience on Saturday. can always watch the highlights on match of the day.

I didn't know it was on telly, what time/ channel is it on?

Is the Popes funeral on telly too?  What time/ channel is that on?

I will probably watch it, I have never seen a Royal wedding before, I, too, will have a bag of Maltesers/ Rebels on hand and a cuppa.

Natalie, the wedding is being covered by both BBC and ITV (well it was before the day changed to Saturday - so I presume it still will be).  Don't know about the funeral though.

Graemer - another snack Popeadums!
Hey I got through! Thanks techies!
What I wanted to say is apart from the frivolity I agree with FP, the ugly jokes are a bit sad, we know she's not Diana in the looks stake but there's obviously more to love and maybe if you placed yourself in that age bracket...on a scale of one to ten I'd give her one.
Yes graemer it would be rude not to
Pontiff - ract cakes! :-)

Well done, Robinia!
I think I'll just open a Vati-can of baked beans!

FP we've got another Royal dilemma over here because at the same time as Chuck and Cammy are getting hitched, Jim Carver is marrying June on The Bill! They are so jinxed those two.

For my funeral snack today I have decided on Barbecued Polish Sausage.

PS shame about Glasto. I just had the bus serviced and special plastic laid out on the seats for the incontinent ones.

And Deirdre and Ken!
Never mind graemer you can take us on a mystery tour instead.  Just be sure to tell us where we're going though because if there's one thing that Grumpy Old Women hate it's surprises.  And for heaven's sake don't arrive too early - that would make FP soooo angry & you wouldn't like her when she's angry!!
Robinia I love her when she's angry! I just wanted to see her go completely feral in the mud at Glasto. Thought I might wear a kilt and a mason's apron.

Came over here 'cos me ears were burning!!!!!
You're all over the place like a mad woman's breakfast! I can't get into your further post on the wedding. I hope you're not slagging them off. They've announced over here that sky are having trouble with their satellite feed and instead we will be crossing to the wedding of Darren and Tracy, the couple booked to follow the Royals.
