Why doesn't Israel just issue a warning and then carpet bomb the whole bleeding lot and knock out all this rocket capability? I think they are showing remarkable restraint.

I doubt that 6 days of Palentines crude military capabilites could cause as much damage as less than 24 hours worth of Israel high-tech military wizardry.

Because then they'd not only be likely to kill quite a lot of civilians, they'd also destroy lots of peoples' homes/property etc.

You might say 'well, tough' but it would likely massively increase Hamas' strength. Plus they'd likely find out about the warning, evacuate, then return with said strength.

Do you feel they are trying to get revenge for the holocaust? Wipe the Palestinians off the planet! Will the last Arab standing please turn out the lights. One of our lives is worth 400 palestinians. Do they have a right to exist? What must be going through Israeli minds as 95% agree with the attack?

The holocaust proved advantageous through sympathetic feelings of other nations (including UK) in the setting up of the illegal ******* state of Israel.

Whether the Jews have a right to occupy a country they were exiled from 1700 years ago provokes arguments from both sides. One things for sure; there will be no quick resolve to the petty land squabbles with devasting losses on both sides that is this war.

The solution for hamas and co is simple, Stop firing your bleeding rockets you numpties! Derrrr it ain't rocket science.... oh perhaps it is!

The only way things will ever change is if Israel consents to negotiate with Hamas . Do you think the Northern Ireland peace process would have happened if the British Govt.. hadn't been in contact with the IRA for most of the 'Troubles' ?
All this does is radicalise more people as has been proved countless times in the past .
