When i want to go on the net i use AOL which works fine, except i cant watch videos and things as it says i either dont have the latest flash, which i then download so i do have it, or java is not turned on which as far as i can see it is and is updated.
when i try internet explorer, it cant connect, yet my wireless connection is fine.
its driving me crazy!

Anyhow that aside..
Open IE and click on the tools menu, then click on the connections tab. once there firstly if you have any old dial up connections listed under "dial up and VPN connections) click on them and then select remove to get rid of them (you don't need them if your on broadband now)
Then below that make sure the tick is in the box next to "never dial a connection"
Then at the bottom click where it says lan settings and make sure that there is not any ticks in any of the 3 options on there
Click ok a few times to close everything and try again
if you still have a problem you could try downloading firefox and trying that (it's a better browser than IE anyhow)
