Queen size bed

What are the measurements of a queen size bed? We're booking a hotel (in the UK) and a room with a queen bed and a room with a double bed are the same price, what is the size difference?

UK size as US is different!

Hi chazza, the difference in size between the 2 beds is that a Queen size is 6 inches wider giving you each that little bit extra room. Hope this helps.

Overall dimensions: 54" wide x 75" long
