he fell over broke his collar bone ..was left
for 3 days with no medical attention , then
when he was sorted , I had a meeting with the
manager I said he could get pneamonia ..
i was told no way ..he's now in hospital and
very poorly and has pneamonia ...I thought
I did the right reseach for a local care home ...
so don't believe what you are told ..and you see ..
the hospital wanted to know how he was so bruised ..
how do i know ?

theonlyone, you should report this to CSCI as already suggested and I would have a word with the ward staff as well. Accidents do happen but the staff at the care home are not medically qualified and so should have had him checked over by either GP or paramedics, Leaving it 3 days is unacceptable in my opinion. From a previous post the manager got sidetracked by the cost issue.
You could also discuss his future care needs with the Social Work Dept at the hospital. Personally I would want him moved and it may be that his needs have changed because of the fall
I agree, and you should also air your views about where the bruises came from with the hospital staff. It needs investigating before others suffer in the same way. You can ask for complete confidentiality - but you must do something.

I am really sad to hear the news theonlyone. May your friend rest in peace now. You were both lucky to have known one another and for him to have someone to care for him.

Best wishes and take care of yourself.
I am so sorry to hear your news. He is at peace now and you did your very best.

Take great care.

if you are that worried about him not getting the best medical care you should ask for social services to find him another home or demand an investigation their is an organisation calle csci who can help. i am a care worker and i can only say i put my heart and soul into my job and , we would never neglect anyone medically in my work but sometimes hospital resources are so stretched they encourage the client to be monitored in the residential/ nurseing home they are in
