my friend is gonna lend me his car for a month whilst mine is off the road, he is going to put me on his insurance... about how much will this cost ... thanks

It depends on the same factors as a full year insurance....age......car.....points etc.

As you already have a car, I assume you are insured. Speak to your own insurance company first

If your friends car is already insured by him you can not add it into your insurers so you will have to go onto his policy as a temp additional driver.
This can be expensive, and some wont add you on temp if you have had a full uk lic for less than 1 year.

Check with your insurance company but I have to put my car into body repair shop as it was hit whilst parked ( And the lady left me a note with her details -----that was unexpected ) the repair place are lending me a car and my insurance are just substiting the cars temorarily on my policy. No charge for doing it either.
