I personally wouldn't consider surgery as I'm not concerned enough about my appearance. If I had a huge sticky out nose that was ruining my confidence then I'd definitely consider it though.
In fact, I've had laser eye surgery. I suppose you could consider that cosmetic surgery although that was done for convenience rather than vanity.

If i felt like i needed cosmetic surgery i would try to find out why i felt i needed it first. The underlying issues need to be solved before i would even consider it, then there is MRSA to consider, i dont think i would want to put my life in the balance just because the media have made us see things this way. We need to learn to be happy with the way we are. What a sad world we live in.......
No, I don't believe in cosmetic surgery unless for instance, if you get burnt on you face. There are more natural ways of staying young, like exercising, eating healthy food and getting plenty of fresh air. Smoking is supposed to age you - you get wrinkles and yellow skin. Its better to stop smoking and drinking excessively if you want to stay young, rather than resort to cosmetic surgery.
I do not see why not provided it is within reason. I myself NEED to have surgery do to tissue and muscle damage from my husband giving me a real bad kicking in the breast area. I can have the op okay and leave it like that but it can be repaired so why not. I am a young woman and to be left in a state of deformity I know I could not live with that at all.I had two lovely perfect breasts before despite the fact I have had children, I was one of the lucky ones.So is you can afford it or it affects your self esteem then go for it but be very careful about surgeons I am not having my op privately but I still researched the surgeon, I suggest anyone thinking of surgery should do likewise.
