Portable DVD player - WHY WON'T IT WORK?

Can you help? I have an in car portable DVD player. Everytime I plug it in to the cigar lighter the fuse blows. The fuse fitted is 20A. Can anybody solve this problem?

Sounds like it could be wired the wrong way round...
