I am just curious as to whether a potato could possibly be cooked in an oven on a very low heat over 8 hours? Could this work? Would it be too crispy or not crispy at all? I like a jacket potato but only done in the oven so the skin is crispy but as I work all day... I know I can microwave first then put in oven to crisp up but just wondered the above.... Thanks!

The only way you will find out is to give it a trial run on a day you are off. I imagine it would also depend on the size of potato you test run, the larger the longer it would take to cook xxx
