Colour Scheme

I would like to redecorate my living room. I have a navy blue three piece suite which I'm happy with, but am fed up with everything else! The colours I'd like are navy blue, terracotta and cream, but am not sure whether to have navy or terracotta curtains, terracotta or cream walls and navy or terracotta carpet! The room in question is large, with a smallish window at the front and patio doors at the back.

A friend of mine has her living room decorated in those colours: terracotta walls, navy blue suite and carpet, cream woodwork, cream curtains. It looks completely fab - great choice of colours.
