Whitechapel - Is Phil Davis really little?

I have been googling away but can't find their heights!

Phil Davis looks really small when in scenes with Peter Penry Jones, is he really small or is Peter P-J really tall?

I did find a photo of Phil Davis standing next to another actor who was 5' 8" and he did look much shorter. Think he is probably about 5' 3" maybe 5' 4" so yes he does look very short.

And apparently Rupert is 6' 2" so there is about a foot difference between them. I did laugh at times watching it last night, particularly when they were talking in the back garden. I though Phil Davis would be getting a crick in his neck!

he's 5' 5" (although it's still open to some debate).

I didn't watch Whitechapel, but I did see Phil Davis in the (I thought) rather good BBC play The Curse of Steptoe, where he did a very good job playing the even more diminutive (5' 2") Wilfrid Brambell.
