can anything be done for crooked teeth on the nhs? my bottom four front teeth are so squashed together its impossible to even floss between them. If i bite into apple etc they bleed. im too timid to dare to ask the dentist!!
It depends how old you are and how bad they are. Usually orthodontic treatment has to start before you're 18th birthday for it to be done on the NHS. However, exceptions can be made, such as if they are too difficult to clean. You need to speak to your dentist, this is the only person who can help you to deal with the problem and he will know whether you qualify to have anything done on the NHS.
