Can anyone tell me what the final words are at the end of this song? For years I've been singing, "Mr Blue Sky Aye"

Thanks for that Gina3, but it doesn't tell me the words right at the end after all the lyrics have stopped. It is an electronic sound.
oh right i see what you mean, yes i always say the say as you but without the aye bit!! i sat next to him on a plane to portugal many years ago!! and his mam used to have a flat opposite my school!! my claim to fame

Cool. You should have asked him there and then. Ha.

I went to college with Sting. That's my claim to fame.
"Please turn me over"...it's referring to flipping the vinyl disc over
I haven't heard it for ages but I recall it said, "please turn over.. now" (possibly backwards!)

it was a record, and in those days they had a b side!

Oh Right!!! Thanks for that. At last, after all these years.
Yeah sara and ronina are right - as I recall it was the last track on one side of the album. Once you know what they are saying, it all becomes obvious when you actually listen to it.
Hmmm, lets have a listen then shall we....
Thought I would embed the whole song, as it's so good.
I'm a fan of ELO....if you want to jump to the point in the song where you hear the strange words which even I can't make out....it's from 4.25

Mr Blue Sky by ELO
I'm pretty sure it's mister blue sky is said at the end!!
Sorry Imhotep but I heard this on the radio recently and it's definitely -Please turn me over- for the above reasons that it was the last track on the vinyl album.
Extract from Wikipedia (which I know can be inaccurate but not this time). Hope this clears it up!!

"Mr. Blue Sky" is the finale of "Concerto for a Rainy Day". It is an uplifiting, lively song celebrating sunshine. It is the only piece from the Concerto to be excerpted as a single. In the last orchestral note, the phrase "Please Turn Me O-ver" spoken through a vocoder can be heard (This bit has been misheard repeatedly as "Mr. Blue Sky, why?", but original keyboardist Richard Tandy confirmed the actual lyric to members of the Showdown ELO fan list). (This is an instruction for owners of the original vinyl album to turn it over to listen to the following side.)
Did all you ELO fans hear the sad news that Kelly Groucutt died from a heart attack last week?
Fascinating - I'd NEVER have guessed thats what the words were, like chrissa1 I always thought it said Mr Blue Sky!
I had the single - on blue vinyl.

I loved that song.

I can't bear it now.
Yes Yinyang.
Kelly Groucutt lived just down the road from me always had time for a chat,he was a lovely chap.
Very humble and kind.

Thank you everyone. Thanks imhotep for letting me see it and yes, when you know it, it IS Please turn me overrrr. Postdog you're right.

YES!!!!!
That`ll make a good quiz question, along with the last 2 words of Queens "One Vision" ....Fried Chicken
My husband would have loved to have met him, mightyWBA - and i think he would stalk Jeff Lynne given half the chance. i'm sure Kelly will be missed.

I've mentioned this before on AB, my husband is such an ELO fan that the first words our baby girls ever heard were ' Hey you with the pretty face, welcome to the human race '
