Antiques Roadshow last night
There was some guy on last night who found some paintings. They told him that some were worth about 300-500 but there was one at the end (which i missed coz the phone rang) and he ended up crying as did his daughter!!!
Could someone tell me how much he got told this was worth?
Thanks xx

Fiona spoke to them at the end and they said that they had never liked the painting and were going to sell it. Lucky them!

I agree dot,
They have seamlessly ( and crafitly) run the new programmes into the repeats!
In the past one series ended and then a few months later we had a repeat of the series before last.
Now they seem to think we are so stupid that we won't notice,or see the (R) symbol in Radio Times etc.
mancmo,
In case you wondered WHY the painting was worth so much, here is a biography of the painter Winslow Homer:~

He was undoubtedly THE most important American painter of the 19th Century.
