to be fair vibra i would look past the actual reference to the 12 year old girls, you are misunderstanding the post as that is drawing the wroing conclusion, it is a reference to a thread last night not this posters own thoughts.

it's a fail safe anti-spamming program that kicks in when a poster re-submits the same reply repeatedly, which with the way this sites gets sometimes, can be done simply out of frustration or annoyance. The ed gets a suspension list every so often and releases the barr.

yes but normally with overposting you can log on but can't post , i could not log on or find a question with my name on it . I can now but still can't post .

I did actually have something similar happen to me with my original user name noxlumos, the techies couldn't find a reason i couldn't log in and so i made a new account a while ago, but it wasn't a banning as such, just a glitch.... still wish i had my old name back:(

this happened to me a few weeks ago. i still get mail from the site but they dont reg me when i try to sign in or if i try to mail the ed :(

i dont know why i was banned! i was never notified just thrown off.
I would like to see user profiles sometimes because sometime folk are just pain rude and others just use the thread as a chat forum. I know there are folk that have be on this site for years and i think that is great but sometimes there are certain "in jokes" that just get lost on us greenies :( and sometimes just make us feel a bit stupid.

I like to feel that my opinion can be given...and challenged with out all the blank spaces and guess work coz folk think they know who every greenie is!

i think a quick background history/ specialism/ interest would be good for a user profile bases.
