dont suppose anyone knows which port the bands and artists for the Isle of Wight Festival sail from? is it portsmouth or southampton?

I would imagine that the headline bands and the bands higher up on the bill would be helicoptered into the festival site.

yeh thats what i thought. its just that i live in portsmouth not too far from the ferry port so if they were going that way, i may have a slight chance of seeing them!! silly really but u never know!
