Sound on the television

My sky remote control has decided all of a sudden , that it doesn't want to operate the sound on the television anymore .

Does anyone know how to reset it ?

you think you've got problems - when I press the standby button on my remote the bloody home cinema switches on...

I've got the same problem with my remote. You have to do the unthinkable and walk to the sky box and change the volume or use the TV remote; I highly recommend the latter as it uses less energy.

Go to the interactive menu, option 5 then option 5 again. You will need the make and model of your tv and it tells you how to do it.

did you change the batteries lately. It might have lost its configuration for your tv. as above follow instructions to reconfigure the remote with the correct code for your tv

mine is always doing it, follow the instructions futricat has posted and that will sort it out :-)

is it bunged up with gunk.....mine gets same & cleaning with meth spirit does the trick ;)
