My friend has been doing some matchmaking & has suggested I add somone on face book. I want to add a message to the friend request, but everything I try & type sounds stupid or desperate (have not long come out of a relationship, so I'm not used to casual chat)

As I say no knowledge- its pathetic- he's only a person & I have no problem speaking to people usually. Anyway I jus said HI- we met as friends party ages ago- she mentioned you last week, so i thought I'd say hello.
