The purple ones work quite well to get me off to sleep - but some of these herbal thingies give me restless legs, so see how it works for you. They don't have the same immediate and lasting impact as say zopiclone, but aren't as addictive.
Thank you, is there one that does not make you sleepy?? I have 2 big tests coming up and friend suggested them, I get really stressed and panicky so just want something to relax me a bit but keep me focused...if at all possible??
Perhaps addressing the panic would be better than medicating yourself at short notice without knowing how the drugs might affect you.
You can get quite useful support from the likes of Paul Mckenna - these are usually accompanied by cds which you can download onto your ipd and use for practising relaxation and confidence-building techniques.
They are good for relaxing you but they may make you a bit too relaxed if you have tests and such,
Bachs Rescue Remedy is really good.
You could learn some deed breathing exercises to calm you down when you feel panicky, meditation and chi gong classes are good for learning that and how to feel grounded etc...
