Earlier today I purchased a pair od Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses.

I'm now struggling to believe that I spent 87 on a piece of plastic.

Why did I do that?

a) because you can afford it

b) because you like "labels"

c) and why not!!!

I think it's good to have an expensive pair of sunglasses in your collection.  That way you'll always have a cool pair to fall back on.  And you can get some cheapies in between.  It's all about the accessories.

Just don't LITERALLY fall back on them - else you'll have squashed 87.

There is actually a whole theory of brandnames and labels - from the academic discipline of "law and economics".  However it's pretty dull and I somehow think the question was rhetorical anyway!!  So I'll spare you the lecture!  Teehee!

Why not?! Everyone should treat themselves after all...  You must have really liked them the time you bought them!  Let just hope the weather gets really sunny so you can wear them all the time!
OK Andy, If your feeling guilty about your purchase, you could relieve your conscience by offering to sell them to me at a 75% discount. ;o)
Well, it is nice to treat yourself once in a while if you can afford it. But bear in mind it is healthier for your eyes to have good quality branded name sunglasses. The cheap ones could damage your eyes. If you take kind of them it would last for many years, so it could be a good buy afterall.  Do you still like them...???
Yep agreed with the post above mine - Some things just have to be quallity!
Very simply - because they saw you coming!
I just hope that they meet the standards for cutting out UV otherwise you will damage your eyes and will have wasted your money.

I spent 90 on some designer sunglasses 2 years ago and they are the best 90 i have spent! So long as you look after them and keep them in a safe place theres no harm done. I

went to a waterpark on my hols the other year and nearly put these on to swim along with, but chose my other cheaper pair and lost them so always keep a spare cheap one around. I cant live without them as i get headaches if i dont wear them.
