Questions 114 and and 133 are driving me crazy. I have an answer for 133. It's sensible and could be considered to be a good guess. The trouble is that I have three answers to 114 and even I have the sense to realise that they cannot all be correct.
I cannot bring myself to read three huge books in the vague hope that I might find the truth although, to be honest, I have spent hours reading one of them online only succeeding in coming to the conclusion that the online version is even more boring than the written one I tried to read years ago.
Please help me. I beg you ! I can't stand any more of that type of literature. Not at my age, I don't deserve it.

"The Fair Penitent" is named after a woman called Camilla and she would not have married Lothario's sister. Don Quixote never married and Wilhel Meister didn't marry Lothario's sister either, at leat not in his apprenticeship. This last named work is by Goethe. Looks like Quizmail have made a mistake.
Your answer - think of somebody who played with Lyle
Cheers !
Thank you Oarsman but I think you may be oversimplifying things.
I've googled 114 for many hours and keep coming up with answers that do not fit the question. I have identified three authors who had a character called Lothario in a written work, Rowe, Cervantes and Goethe. In none of these did the person of the title marry Lothario's sister.
You seem to be implying that the answer to 133 is a female. The quote you refer to is not the same as the one in the question.
Yours confused !!

I've just skimmed through the story about Wilhelm Meister, who you've already mentioned, and with the info I found there I googled again to verify what I thought was the answer.

Thank you all for your help. I've been doing Quizmail for some time now and have never tried to find answers here before. Quizmail has made many mistakes in its questions, especially in March, and to find apologies on the subsequent answer sheet is frustrating. Question 1, last month, is a good example. Although a lot of people must have used the Query Line to seek clarification, they refused to acknowledge that their question was badly worded.
Given their recent record, I feel I have good cause to discuss contentious questions with others.
I don't ask for the answer to question Q.12 as I am fully prepared to work for my answers. To be fair to Quizmail, this question is unambiguous. But, I would be grateful if some kind person could tell me if it is a man or a woman ? Thank you, all.
