closed shop!

Now I know I will no doubt get slated for this but so what!
I joined here late February and have taken in part in various posts, been criticised by plenty but that's ok! that's called debating an issue.
But there does seem a concerted effort by a certain few to make it a "closed shop", not only me adding posts but many others, are not even being answered, instead the same few, go onto chat about something else, ignoring everyone who gets in with an answer if they are'nt in the clique, even have their own "speak".
This is just an observation and No! I haven't spat my dummy out the pram....lol
I wonder if there anymore peeps who feel like this?
OK, diving from the fists and missiles coming my way....LOL

I'm sure I've spoken to you on here.

I can't make out who is which clique - when someone posts that's a troll I have no idea how they know or who it really is. I've been on here for about 3 months but I keep been thrown in the dungeon - I think the dungeon keeper has a thing for me....

I just read (usually chuckle to myself because some of the replies are funny) and move on. Have got into a bit of banter with a few people but now I tend to only post at night when my hubby is on call out and I usually see the same people.

Afternoon Joy .. - I have only just come online - been up all night - no sleep - my 19 year old son has been coughing all night - he gets this every year because of hayfever - he has one of those puffa things, but it dos'nt seem to be working.

God you are brave posing this question - and you seem to have a lot of other AB posters agreeing with you - and you know I am also one that agrees with you.

As you know I have only been on here for only 2 months but have been called a racist, dense and stupid.

Its very much an old pals act on AB chatterbank - a bit of playground politics.

The answers you get on Body & Soul - Motoring etc are all good advice and grown up answers.

Sqad is good for the medical ones - (Happy Easter Sqad).

I am signing off now and making a trip to the chemist to see what I can get for 'annoying son coughing all night and day'.

I don't think there is a clique per se. I think that it's just people being familiar with other users. Personally I think the more you post the more people banter with you as they get to see the name regularly.

If you post in CB you're more likely to have your post invaded than in any other category. It is called ChatterBank after all.

I also try not to ignore anyone or presume that the greenies are trolls.

Also, I could be cocky or cutting towards someone in one question but as nice as pie in another as that's a separate subject :-)
