Appendicitis

i have had a pain in my right side tum since 7 o clock last night .very painful when i walk or move about .still have the pain now i have not felt like eating anything all that time just been drinking water .i rung nhs direct and was told to take pain killers if the pain gets worse to ring a doc .the pain has not got any worse so far .has anyone else had appendicitis and did the pain get worse over a longer time .thanks

im 37 never had pain like it .im just going to take it easy for a while and if the pain comes back like it was im going to go to hospital im fed up not knowing .
