It is Kagoul I think. Are you sure you haven't got the one beginning with 'e' wrong?

Kagoule/Cagoule is spelt with an 'e' on the end

There are only  six letters.I have tried cagoul/kagoul in my dictionary but it insists on a "e"at the end.Perhaps it isn't me ?!!!!

If you type 'kagoul' in Google it finds plenty of sites to do with raincoats. Perhaps its just a spelling issue?

My well-thumbed Collins English Dictionary reads 'kagoule or kagoul' = n. variant spellings of 'cagoule'.  Interestingly 'cagoule' shows 'kagoul and kagoule' as variants but no mention of 'cagoul'.  So it looks like there is a choice of with/without E for the K version but no E for the C version.  Good debate for anoraks . . .
