Broadband Internet
7 Answers
I am contemplating getting broadband. I know there are some relatively cheap options out there (provided you don't look too closely at the fine print of course) but I am prepared to pay extra for good service and customer care. Basically I would like to hear about other peoples experiences and get some recommendations before I make a decision. Thanks folks.

Excellent performance, relatively reliable (only occasional loss of service), easy and cheap to get connected, but not availalble everywhere. Their customer service used to be appalling, but I'm pleased to report has improved dramatically in the last few months. I would go with this choice again!
I've been with NTL for a few moths now and so far everything has been just great!
There has only been a couple of times when the connection was down, but it only lasted 3 hours at the most.
I haven't really had to call them up about broadband, only about the digital TV service. It took a while to navigate the phone system, and then was on hold for 5 to 10 minutes. After I actually got through to a person they quickly and efficiently dealt with my problem/request.
Overall I would give them a rating of 9/10 (no-one is perfect!)
