There has been talk of a film version for a while now.

Theres a film in pre production however there will not be any of the old cast in it as anything other than cameos, it is based so far on american soldiers that return from Iraq war and are wronged for a crime they didnt commit and while tracked by the FBI they end up aiding someones problems, more a modern update of the old series but according to the production company there will be deaths and killings and not the rubber bullets that never did more than injure in the 80's series! Empire Online may have more details
