Hi Can anyone help with this? I still haven't managed to solve the puzzle & it's driving me mad. The puzzle is as follows: Assume you ae using a basic calculatorand press the numbers in the order shown, replacing each question mark with a mathematical sign. Plus, minus, multiply & divide can be used once only. In which order should they appear? I am starting to think that there is no solution. Please help. Thanks

Doh.....Sorry the numbers are as follows

3?7?6?9?6=50

3 - 7 / 6 + 9 x 6 = 50

Depends what kind of calculator you use.

It worked on my old (ancient) calculator, but not on the modern one. The modern ones tend to automatically prioritize certain functions, whereas the old ones just work the answer out as you type it in.

-4 / 6 = -2/3
-2/3 + 9 = 8 1/3
8 1/3 x 6 = 50
