I hope someone can help me as this is driving me mad!! Does anyone remember some trading cards which were around in the early nineties on which there were small stickers of different smiley faces of varying types (exploding smilies, dead smilies, vampire smilies, etc)? On the back of the cards, there were also parts of a picture - about 6 or 8 made the whole picture, I think. The only one I can remember was a take on the Picasso picture with the melting clocks - all the clocks were substituted by yellow smilies! Does anyone else remember these, or am I the only one?

i remember that my younger cousin had quite a few of these but have no idea what they were called, or where he got them. i'll email him to see if he remembers.

btw - i'm sure the melting clock thing was Dali not Picasso.

I thought I remembered them but, after discussing it with a co-worker, I realised I was actually thinking of those tattoo things you used to get with germoline chewing gum. Sorry.

Aaarrgh!! Ah well, at least someone else remembers them!! Cheers for the correction on the Dali/Picasso mixup. I only realised my mistake once Id posted it and re-read it. Guess that'll teach me to read what I type!
I definitely remember them, and this may be all in my head, but I swear that another big picture was that of the Mona Lisa as... a smily!
