When you parboil potatoes before roasting, does salting them or not salting them make a difference to the end result?

Depends on the individual Chrissa, I have to add it, but my sis in law never has salt in the house. It does help bring out the flavour tho, they taste a bit insipid to me without salt.
Just drain them when they're cooked, jiggle about with a fork to get crispy bits later, roll in flour or semolina then put into well heated oil in oven, and keep turning.
