Anyone know of a website where I can read up on about the 60/70s "folk" band Forest? All I know is that they came from Lincolnshire and had at least two albums...it's no use me googling forest cos all I get is millions of stuff about trees...smile...not that there's owt wrong with trees. Ta Muchly.
The members of the band were Martin Welham, Derek Allenby and Hadrian Welham, by Googling the first name I had several more specific hits, but didn't have time to investigate further, hope that helps you though
Hi Woodelf. Good to hear you are still busy with your music, how's it going with the guitar. Hope this isn't a touchy subject, but how are you getting on without the dreaded weed. Hope you are keeping well. Best wishes. Schutz.
Hi Schutz, I'm slowly getting better with my guitar playing and learning the ins and outs of building chords and how to transpose, etc and am actually working with a guy in New Jersey and we are producing a numeric chord site - as for the fags...oh dear, oh well, I lasted for quite a little while, but am now back on them...at a very much lesser rate, but still back on fags - am thinking about going to gp and asking about this Champix ...but the side effects sound wierd.
woodelf, that's great about the music, and so pleased you are well. Yes it's really hard to stay away from the fags, but I do worry about the side effects. I really don't know what the answer is. Anyway I send you my very best wishes. Schutz.
Thanks very much Schutz, you are very kind. Ta Muchly Jules, I've been listening to Forest on my space and although very redolent of the Incredible String Band, they have or had...no I can still hear them, have their own uniqueness. Now all I've got to do is figure out how to contact one of them to learn how to play their stufff...hey ho!
