Cape Gooseberries

I've just been given a Cape Goosberry plant.  I know it's some time til it starts producing fruit, however I wondered if any you ABers had any recipes I could try once I have fruit.

you can make jam with them or wine..or even just have them with ice cream..i grow capegooseberrys make sure you support it well as they grow really tall and wide..mine are still quite small at this time of posting this..the weather is all over the place and mine are in a unheated greenhouse so they are creeping along they like heat..not the miserable weather we keep getting..
