Hi,
We are currently holidaying in Bournemouth and a couple of days ago visited Weymouth.
If you stand on Weymouth beach and look to your left along the coastline as far as the eye can see there is a white art deco style building with a central tower, possibly a clock tower.
Can anyone tell me what this building is,I've looked on an ordnance survey sheet and I suspect its near Ringstead Bay but theres no mention of the building on the map.
Thankyou in advance for any answers.

I think it may be the Riviera Hotel at Bowleaze Cove. Google an image for it and see if that is right, if not let me know (I used to live in Weymouth)

Thanks CAJ1,thats the building I meant.
It looks a very impressive building to look at but reading some of the reviews it doesn't seem like a nice place to stay.
Years ago it was a Pontins Holiday Camp and we went every year when our children were young. I think it might be a Haven camp now. Unless it has been updated I would imagine the rooms in the main building and the Chalets at the back are not so nice now. If you are on holiday have a trip up and see if you can walk around.
