Midi file

I have a midi file I want to use as a ringtone but it too large, I would like to just use the bit in the middle, is there a way of making the file smaller, cheers.

How big is the midi file and are you able to email it to someone to have a nosey?

Personally, I'd go to download.com and type in "edit midi" and see what software you can get to cut/copy and paste the bit that you want to keep
