iPod / mp3 earphones

Can anyone recommend a good quality set of earphones for an mp3 player? I need ones that stay put for when I go running. I bought a pair today which supposedly clip over the ear but they don't reach far enough into my earlobes, if you get what I mean. I dont' want to run around the streets with a full set of headphones on and I don't really want to resort to using duct tape. Any suggestions?

earphones on e-bay,they have just what you need. Buy a name brand,that way you get good sound.

I bought my son a Panasonic set from Waitrose today - �9.99.
He says they sound very good, and are the sort you push into the ear canal.

Mind you, he doesn't go jogging.

Whatever you do, don't go for 'canal phones' (the sort that go deeper into your ear canal.

While they certainly give improved sound (great bass, better external noise blocking), they're terrible if you're walking about somewhere, or worse if running.

You'll hear every thud of your feet hitting the ground very loudly.

everybody's lugs are different - and you should see the face of the assistant when you tell them you want to try on a few pairs of in-ear buddies

I've been buying earphones for years - and have just about got what I need - I use a "propper" big set with PC
for my mp3 player - I have some buds for general use ... and some in-ear jobbies I use when travelling.

I have a pair of Koss KSC-75s, that have a great sound (far better than you'd think for the price, size and look).

They're also 'sports headphones', with proper pads that fit over your ear like traditional headphones, but with clips so that they hold onto your ear, without requiring a headband.

They're perfectly fine for walking about, but I've never used them for running. But perhaps they're fine for that too, given that they're designed with something like that in mind?
